One week down. . . 8 to go
So I have officially completed my first week of the "couch to 5K" training plan (http://www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_3/181.shtml). Week one consists of running for 60 seconds and walking for 90 seconds. So far I feel great while running and just mildly sore the day after. Each time I end up walking/running about 4 miles, that includes the warm up and cool down walk. Week two consists of running for 60 seconds and walking for 60 seconds. I am hoping that the 60 second brake between running will be enough to regain slower breathing, if not I guess I will have to slow down my speed while running. But all-in-all a good beginning.
